The
narrow, crunchy cookies known to most of the USA as biscotti
are also called "quaresimale," because they were typically
served and eaten during Lent (quaresima in Italian). We
think ours are the best you'll find anywhere; we might be a little
biased, but they are pretty great.
If all you know of biscotti is those little cookies wrapped in
plastic in a jar by the cash register at the cafe, you're in for
a surprise.
